Hi everyone my name is Hannah Porter and I will be traveling to Argentina for the summer with the AFS language program. I am really excited to go to South America and experience another culture. Ever since I started studying Spanish, I have been transfixed with the language. I have wanted to study abroad for a long time, and my dream is finally coming true.
I live in Harvard, Massachusetts and attend The Bromfield School. I live with my parents and younger sister. We enjoy spending time together.
I am so excited to go to Argentina and become familiar with a new language and culture. I hope to build lifelong relationships with the people I meet. I am open-minded and eager to learn about Argentina. I know that this experience will help me become a more accepting person. I cannot wait to form intercultural bonds and friendships.
I have been fortunate enough to receive financing through an AFS scholarship, but I still have a substantial fee to pay. I have been earning money by babysitting and doing yard work. I am putting my savings towards my trip, but any contributions would be much appreciated. No donation is too small; anything that you can give will help me reach my ultimate goal.
